"Wait, isn't print dead or something?"
So begins the post by E&P cartoonist Rob Tornoe, who on his blog, www.laughde.com, has revealed his plans to launch a new humor and arts magazine called Laugh! in Northern Delaware in July.
"People are quick to point out that with the Internet, they can read everything they want on their glowing, irritating computer screen," he writes. "And for the newspapers it makes sense, since newspapers only seem to want to print yesterdays news and sell it to you tomorrow, while cutting all the cool stuff everyone loves in order to save a buck."
Laugh!, which will be free and is scheduled to debut in late June, promises humor and comics content paired with coverage of the arts and cultural scene in Northern Delaware.
The first issue will be distributed free in and around Greater Wilmington, but those outside the area can also sign up for a subscription here.
