E&P EDITORIALS WIN JESSE H. NEAL HONORS

RoadStar, a magazine covering the trucking industry, was named the Grand
Neal Award winner at the 47th annual Jesse H. Neal National Business Journalism
Awards ceremony Wednesday. The winning entry, "The New Hours Rules," analyzed
government's regulations on driver hours and truck safety.

Editor & Publisher won in the "best staff-written editorials" category of
the American Business Media contest. The editorials were written by Editor at
Large Mark Fitzgerald, whose work also was chosen as second runner-up for the
Grand Neal among 1,170 entries.

Winners were chosen in four classes based on annual revenue - (A) less than
$3 million; (B) $3 million to $7 million; (C) more than $7 million; and (D) no
revenue breakdown.

Among the winners:

Best single article: (A) "Contemporary Long Term Care," Bill Communications
Inc.; (B) "Computer Graphics World," PennWell Corp.; (C) "Network Computing,"
CMP Media Inc.

Best subject-related series of articles: (A) "Professional Remodeler," Cahners
Business Information; (B) "RoadStar," Newport Communications Group; (C)
"Builder," Hanley-Wood LLC.

Best staff-written editorials on one or several subjects: (A) "Contemporary
Urology," Medical Economics Co. Inc.; (B) "Editor & Publisher," BPI
Communications Inc.; (C) "Restaurant Business," Bill Communications Inc.

Best regularly featured department or column: (A) "Medical Economics," OB/GYN
Edition, Medical Economics Co. Inc.; (B) "Contemporary Pediatrics," Medical
Economics Co. Inc.; (C) "PC World," IDG.

Best how-to article or subject-related series of how-to articles: (A) "Modern
Physician," Crain Communications Inc.; (B) "R&D Magazine," Cahners Business
Information; (C) "Construction Equipment," Cahners Business Information.

Best news coverage: (A) "Washington Techway," Post-Newsweek Tech Media Group;
(B) "Ophthalmology Times," Advanstar Inc.; (C) "American Banker," Faulkner &
Gray (Thomson Financial).

Best single issue of a magazine: (A) "Review of Ophthalmology," Jobson
Publishing Co. LLC; (B) "Darwin," IDG; (C) "PC World," IDG.

Best single issue of a newspaper/news tabloid: (D) "RoadStar," Newport
Communications Group

Best Web site: (D) "InformationWeek," CMP Media Inc.
