'E&P' Launches First Audio/Podcast Report

Posted
By: Greg Mitchell After 123 years in print and 15 online, E&P breaks into an exciting new realm today, launching our first audio/podcast, which can be easily found at the link below. You can listen to it here or download.

It will be a regular feature, and we plan to introduce new forum/feedback features soon. We will be offering reports from editors on breaking news, analysis of trends, and commentary, along with exclusive interviews.

In today?s first audio report, we offer a discussion inspired by our October cover story, just published this week, titled ?Where is the Bottom?? It?s a hard-hitting and revealing look at the surprisingly sharp advertising declines throughout the newspaper industry. Yes, this is not a new development, but the extent of the declines is troubling and raises new questions about the future of the industry ? when, if ever, can it reverse this tide?

E&P Online Editor Pauline Millard interviews the co-author of that piece, Jennifer Saba, associate editor. The audio lasts about six minutes.

Please let us know what you think of all this (see my address below). And look for more in the future.
