By: E&P Staff E&P adds today a second weekly audio/podcast offering, this one a more chatty feature that focuses on the business side of the newspaper world. It's called ?Fitz & Jen Give You the Business,? and you can listen or download now.
Fitz, of course, is longtime E&P editor-at-large Mark Fitzgerald, who works out of Chicago, and Jen is Jennifer Saba, associate editor here in New York. Together they have won or shared, in the past few years, a total of eight Neal Awards, the top prize for the business press.
In this new weekly podcast, they will discuss the latest developments on the business side of newspapers, in an informal and even, at times, witty way -- which, given the current state of the industry, might be called black humor (but hopefully not gallows humor). Look for some audio enhancements next week.
Our regular podcast, which we?ve offered since November, will continue to appear as well.
