Eugene Kim, Veteran AP Writer of Today in History, Dies at 61

Eugene Kim, a broadcast writer and editor for the Associated Press who for 34 years wrote the AP’s Today In History feature used by newspapers and broadcasters around the country, has died. He was 61.

Kim, a graduate of Syracuse University, began his AP career in New York in 1981 after working as a news reporter at radio stations in Connecticut.
