Ex-Journal Tech Writers Are Close to Deal With NBCUniversal

The technology writers Kara Swisher and Walter Mossberg, founders of the conference and media business All Things Digital, appear to have found a new home.

NBCUniversal is close to signing a deal for a minority stake in a new venture run by Ms. Swisher and Mr. Mossberg, who left The Wall Street Journal in September, executives familiar with the negotiations said.
