By: Jennifer Saba CNN edged up closer to its competition, MSNBC, in November with 41.4 million unique users for the month compared to MSNBC's 41.8 million.
This is the latest data of the top 30 global online current events and news destinations in November from Nielsen Online.
The Daily News in New York climbed up the ranks in November compared to October. In November, the site was No. 23 with 5.8 million uniques while in October is was No. 30 with 4.6 million. The New York Post dropped a few positions to No. 30 with 4.4 million uniques in November from No. 28 with 5 million uniques in October.
The Huffington Post was again the fastest growing site on the list. Uniques were up 270% to 7 million in November compared to the same period a year ago. But the number of unique visitors is down compared to October: in that month, uniques at the Huff Post soared 448% year-over-year to 8.1 million.
Fox News Digital Network was the second fastest growing site on the list in November, up 131% year-over-year.
