Posted
By: Dave Astor An exhibit of cartoons by Ann Telnaes will be at the Library of Congress from Thursday through Sept. 4.

Three years ago, the Tribune Media Services-distributed Telnaes became the second woman to win the Pulitzer Prize for editorial cartooning. She also does cartoons for Women's eNews, and is among the women who create the "Six Chix" comic for King Features Syndicate on a rotating basis.

In other exhibit news, Universal Press Syndicate columnists Roberto Rodriguez and Patrisia Gonzales and a team from UCLA's Cesar E. Chavez Center have organized a show running Wednesday through June 30.

"Aztlanahuac: Mesoamerica in North America" includes maps, documents, and other evidence that ancestors of some people in Mexico and Central America lived in what is now Utah. Rodriguez will be among the speakers at a Wednesday panel discussion about the exhibit, which is in UCLA's Charles E. Young Research Library.
