'Family Guy' Goofs on 'Washington Post'

By: E&P Staff "Family Guy" has invaded Washington. The Washington Post, that is.

The Fox animated television comedy parodied its way into a Washington Post editorial cartoon in a clip from Sunday's episode, mocking current political issues with lines like ?Here comes an overweight cat with dollar signs for eyes and a hat that says ?social security? pouring a bucket that says ?alternative minimum tax? over a sad Statue of Liberty holding a ?democracy? umbrella.?

Tom Toles, WaPo?s Pulitzer Prize-winning political cartoonist, had little to say in reply on his blog, except, ?I couldn?t understand it because the characters weren?t labeled.?
