FASTechnology Group, Glen Carbon, Ill., announced recent installations of inserter controls and bundle-wrap printers.
The Minneapolis (Minn.) Star Tribune will install FASTechnology Group's eNews inserter controls on its two Goss NP630 inserters, where they will be configured to control 30_hoppers, downstream tracking and full stacker control.
The San Antonio (Texas) Express-News will install three eNews inserter control systems to replace OEM systems on Muller Martini SLS1000 and Goss model 1272 and 1372 machines configured with a Quipp Newstec control system. When the three inserters are equipped with eNews controls, they will interface with Burt mailroom planning software via Burt Technologies' Open Control Interface.
The Dayton (Ohio) Daily News will upgrade its Goss bundle wrap units with new printers from FASTechnology. The inkjet printers and printer control will provide variable-data bundle_information driven directly from the eNews control systems installed on four Goss NP 630 inserters.
