Financial News & Daily Record Sold After 104 years In Same Family

After 104 years in the same family, the Financial News & Daily Record has been sold. James Bailey Jr., whose grandfather founded the Monday-Friday newspaper in 1912, has sold it to a media group based in the Sarasota area.

Observer Media Group has 10 weekly newspapers including The Business Observer, which has four offices from Tampa to Naples.
