'Financial Times' to Launch Web site for Lux Mag

By: E&P Staff The Financial Times is launching a companion Web site for its magazine How to Spend It. The site goes live Oct. 3 and coincides with the publication's 15th anniversary.

"How to Spend It set the benchmark for luxury lifestyle magazines 15 years ago and now we want to establish the brand as the benchmark for luxury lifestyle Web sites too," Gillian de Bono, the magazine's editor, said in a statement. "To this end, the print and online operations are fully integrated, produced and edited by a single in-house team using the same top tier writers, photographers and illustrators."

The Web site features exclusive content such as updates from its luxury columnist Lucia van der Post, extended interviews, weekly videos bulletins featuring gadgets and technology, and a gift guide.

Digital agency Razorfish created the site.
