By: E&P Staff A lightening strike ignited a fire at the Daily Clintonian that destroyed all but two of its 15 computers last week.
No employees were hurt in the blaze, which occurred late last Thursday night. Delivery of the Friday paper was delayed.
The fire started in the second floor roof, and was put out by a sprinkler system. Most of the buildings damage was the result of smoke and water.
Publisher George B. Carey, who could not be reached Monday, predicted that the paper would return to normal with its Monday edition. The 5,413-circulation evening Clintonian publishes Mondays through Fridays.
