First Look Media, the news organization backed by Ebay Inc. founder and philanthropist Pierre Omidyar, has decided to pull the plug on its high-profile online media project that was to be helmed by former Rolling Stone journalist Matt Taibbi but whose future had become unclear after he abruptly left the company last month.
