Flint Hikes Price for Heatset Inks Only

By: E&P Staff Luxembourg-based Flint Group's North America Publication Inks Division announced yesterday 10-12% price increases for publication inks, effective June 1. News ink prices are not affected, according to a company spokesperson, who said the increases only apply to heatset inks.

The price increases were made to offset rising costs of raw materials, energy and freight, according to Flint.

Since last October, ?the North America Publication Inks Division has received over 100 raw material price increases from our global supply base," Mike Green, the division's vice president and general manager, said in a statement.
