Florida Shopper Sale Is All In The Family

By: E&P Staff Flashes Shopping Guide, the longtime free-distribution shopper in Stuart, Fla., has been sold inside the family, sellers Gary and Sandra Hawken announced Monday.

Parent company Flashes Inc. was sold to their nephew, Kevin Hawken. The sale was effective Aug. 1. No other terms were disclosed.

Gary Greene of Cribb, Greene & Associates represented Flashes, Inc. in the transaction.

"It is exciting that the publication will be passed to the third generation and few changes in the publication are anticipated," Gary Hawken said in a statement.
