Former N.Y. 'Daily News' Exec. Editor Named 'Newsday' Sunday editor

By: E&P Staff David Ng has been named Sunday Editor at Newsday in Melville, N.Y.

Ng served as executive editor of New York?s Daily News, where he also held several key positions in the newsroom between 1993 and 2000 -- among them deputy managing editor and metropolitan editor. He also was an assistant managing editor at The Star-Ledger in Newark, N.J.

Ng got his start at the New York Post, where he spent 13 years and worked his way up to associate managing editor.
