Former 'Palm Beach Post' Editor Bartosek Named PolitiFact Florida Editor

(AP)  John Bartosek has been hired as the new editor of PolitiFact Florida, a joint project of The St. Petersburg Times and The Miami Herald.

Bartosek has worked in the journalism industry for 30 years, including 24 years at the Palm Beach Post, where he was editor. He also held several other positions at the newspaper and was most recently investigations editor.

News managers at The St. Petersburg Times said Friday Bartosek was hired for a one-term appointment funded by the Knight Foundation.
