Former 'Weekly Reader' Editor Nabbed in FBI Sex Probe Pleads Innocent

By: E&P Staff The former editor for the publishing company of the Weekly Reader accused of soliciting sex from a minor over the Internet has pleaded innocent.

Earlier this month, as E&P reported, Noel Neff was arrested in an FBI sting in which he thought he going to meet and have sex with a 14-year-old boy he met online. Following his arrest, he was fired from his job as editor for the Weekly Reader Corporation.

Neff faces charges of using the Internet to induce a minor to engage in sex and traveling across state lines to engage in sex with a minor. He remains free on a $25,000 bond.
