By: E&P Staff The single-copy price of the weekday Star-Telegram in Fort Worth, Texas, will double to $1 beginning March 30, the paper announced Sunday.
Sunday editions of the Star-Telegram will have a $2 cover price, Publisher Gary Wortel said.
The Star-Telegram last increased its cover price in 1995, increasing the daily paper to 50 cents from 25 cents, and the Sunday paper to $1.50 from $1.25.
The rival Dallas Morning News recently increased its daily single-copy price to $1. Last spring, the Morning News increased the cover price of its Sunday paper to $2.
