Four Dailies Buy Cannon Equipment Mailroom Systems

By: E&P Staff Four newspapers have ordered mailroom equipment from Cannon Equipment, Rosemount, Minn.

The Columbian, Vancouver, Wash., has ordered two press belt stream delivery systems and a dock distribution system with truck loaders.

At the Indianapolis Star, Cannon will install a new bundle-distribution system, and will upgrade the paper's existing system to integrate it with Burt, MMSI and Enternet software.

The Press Republican, Plattsburg, N.Y., has purchased a CC5500 stacker for inserting and ROP stacking, including variable-web-width products.

A Cannon label conveyor will upgrade the press delivery system at the Daily News-Sun, Sun City, Ariz.
