NEW YORK - (The Hollywood Reporter) Fox News filed suit Monday against TheStreet.com and
founder James Cramer, charging each with breach of contract because Cramer did not show up
Friday evening for the taping of 'TheStreet.com,' which is telecast weekends on the Fox
News Channel.

There was no comment from a spokesman for TheStreet.com, the financial Web site that
started a short war of press releases last week when it announced that it was canceling the
show it produces under a two-year agreement signed with Fox News in May 1999.

The lawsuit, filed Monday in New York state Supreme Court, seeks unspecified monetary damages
from Cramer and TheStreet.com. It also seeks injunctions that would prevent Cramer from
appearing on any other network until the end of his contract in September 2002.
