Freedom Communications Buys Riverside Press-Enterprise from A.H. Belo Corp.

A. H. Belo Corporation announced Thursday that it has agreed to sell The Press-Enterprise newspaper in Riverside, Calif. (including the production facility and related land) to Freedom Communications Holdings Inc. for $27.25 million.

The deal, which includes The Press-Enterprise’s production facility and related land, is expected to close on or near Oct. 15, subject to necessary approvals.
