GALLUP: Hope for Hillary -- Most Not Opposed to Continuation of Bush/Clinton 'Dynasty'

Posted
By: E&P Staff If Hillary Clinton -- or, for matter, Jeb Bush -- is elected president next year and serves two terms in office, that would mean a Bush or a Clinton would have held the White House for a whopping 28 years. And to think many once worried about a "Kennedy Dynasty." Yet a new Gallup poll find that most Americans are not concerned about that.

The poll founds that 54% declared that this new dynasty "would not make much difference."

But among those who disagreed, those who worried it will be "bad" easily outnumbered those who thought it would be "good" by 31% to 13%.

The poll of 1,024 adults nationally, also probed the reasons behind Sen. Clinton's negative approval ratings. Of those who said they would "definitely" not vote for her, it found that 1 in 4 flatly said they simply "don't like her" while 17% voiced displeasure with her views and 13% stated they disliked her husband. Six percent consider her a "radical/socialist."
