'Garden & Gun' Voted Hot New Mag

By: E&P Staff Garden & Gun, the new magazine from Evening Post Publishing, was recognized as the "second hottest launch" by the Media Industry Newsletter (min) Magazine.

Evening Post Publishing also owns The Post and Courier in Charleston, S.C.

Garden & Gun was also honored with a "top editorial team" award.

More than 700 new titles were in the consideration set. Conde Nast Portfolio magazine took first place for hottest launch.

"We look at all of these new publications to judge the most viable and valiant launch efforts," Courtney Barnes, editor of PRNews and co-editor of min, said in a statement. "Garden & Gun was a clear favorite based on its enterprising concept."
