Gazette Media Buys Two Newspapers

Gazette Media, which owns The Gazette, gazette.com, OutThereColorado.com and several other local media properties, purchased the Cheyenne Edition and Woodmen Edition community newspapers this week.   "We are excited to build upon the rich tradition of local neighborhood news provided by these two papers," said Dan Steever, publisher of The Gazette. The Cheyenne Edition has been delivered free to residents in Cheyenne Mountain School District 12 for almost 34 years. The Woodmen Edition has been providing area- specific news to residents of Academy School District 20 for almost 24 years.
