Getty Images Expands in China and Adds Partners

By: E&P Staff Getty Images announced today that it is establishing a photo bureau in Beijing and adding three staff and 50 freelance photographers to cover China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan. The bureau will be headed by Andrew Wong, who was formerly with Reuters.

In other news, GettyImages.com is adding six editorial image collections -- including Aurora, CBS Photo Archive, Christian Science Monitor, Focus on Sports, PanAfrican News Agency, and National Geographic.
