By: E&P Staff Getty Images announced today that it will offer, starting in late August, "rights-ready licensing" that provides customers with "a simplified pricing and usage structure."
Under the rights-ready model, said Getty Images, "duration and territory rights are unlimited and use parameters are broadly defined, so customers can avoid re-licensing. ..." Also, eight fixed price points are designated.
The rights-ready "Riser" collection will feature approximately 80,000 images at launch -- with content categories including lifestyle, business, travel, sports, and wildlife. Hundreds of new images will be added each month.
Getty Images' clients include newspapers.
