By: E&P Staff Last week we introduced a new feature to run for the next couple of weeks: Getty Images picks its 'Photo of the Day' from the Olympic Games in Beijing, and the photographer describes how he or she got it.
The contests have now shifted from a focus on swimming and gymnastics to track and field. Of course, dozens of other events, including softball, table tennis and basketball, continue, if a bit behind the scenes for now.
Here is today's Getty selection -- see below.
The caption -- and "How I Got That Picture" narrative -- follows. Watch for the next pick, coming on Friday.

I was at the gymnasium shooting the taekwondo event, with a match between Chutchawal Khawlaor of Thailand and M.A. Jean Moloise Ogoudjobi of Benin.
I like this image as it really captures the energy and action of the sport and the blue background of the mat works well visually against the competitors? white clothing that they are wearing for the match.
I think this image reflects the dynamic nature of the sport and how close the athletes get to one another in this sport.
