'Goldsboro News-Argus' Names New Business Manager

By: E&P Staff Jeff Hansen has been named the new business manager for the Goldsboro (N.C.) News-Argus.

Hansen most recently served as group controller for the Greater Niagara Newspapers, for which he was responsible for four daily newspaper accounting operations in western New York -- as well as managing the activities of the business office staff and handling all monthly closing and financial statement duties.

Previously, Hansen was accounting and finance manager for The News-Press in Fort Myers, Fla., served as controller and chief financial officer the Connecticut Post in Bridgeport, Conn., and was division controller for Thompson Newspapers in Des Plaines, Ill.
