By: E&P Staff The New York Times will supplement its print coverage of the Republican National Convention next week with several Web exclusives, including:

morning Web journal by political correspondent Katharine Q. Seelye, looking ahead at each day's highlights.

"Apple's Almanac" by Associate Editor R.W. Apple, who has covered 19 political conventions. He will answer readers' questions throughout the week.
* Special videos created for
Times on the Trail, a continually updated report produced from the convention.
* Major speeches will be streamed live and archived on the site.
New York Times Digital said the Democratic National Convention helped push page views for Boston.com to an all-time monthly record of 135 million in July. Each of the four days of the DNC were among the top 10 busiest in The Boston Globe Web site's nearly nine-year history.
The most popular photo gallery during that period was a compilation of celebrities photographed around Boston in town for the Dem confab by Boston.com readers.
