By: Charles Geraci By Thursday, most journalists and TV personalities covering the Republican National Convention in New York no doubt were fighting fatigue. Take it from "Crossfire" co-host Tucker Carlson.
When he interviewed Frank Rich at The New York Times building for his new PBS show, Carlson "showed up an hour early because I misread my watch," he told E&P. "I was totally confused when I got there and the lights weren't on."
So he sat and waited until "the makeup guy was tapping me," trying to wake him up.
When Carlson asked, "Was I snoring?" the makeup guy replied, "Like an animal!"
Tucker also admitted to E&P that he "reads the newspaper like a child. It's like my soap opera."
