Goss gets Uniliner 'S' Order from India

Posted
By: E&P Staff The English-language Deccan Chronicle, Hyderabad, India, ordered a 10-unit shaftless Goss Uniliner 'S' press hour to be housed in a new plant.

The four-page-across, one-plate-around (straight-only), 75,000-copy-per-hour Uniliner 'S' offers cost savings on plates and shortened make-ready. Goss Asia Pacific Sales Vice President Peter Kirwan called the press "well suited to the Indian market, as almost all presses run straight only."

The 21.5" cut-off press includes two four-high towers, one two-high tower, four reelstands, a 2:3:3 jaw folder and Goss OPCS press controls. Units will have motorized inking, circumferential and lateral register controls and an automatic greasing system.
