By: E&P Staff Following its recent exhibition in Dallas at Goss International's Nexpo booth, a two-high Newsliner tower was shipped to the Asahi Shimbun's Zama, Japan, plant where the first Goss Global Newsliner 90 was installed last year.
The plant has installed three of the four new, 90,000-copy-per-hour presses it ordered. Each consists of two four-high and three two-high towers with DigiRail inking, a folder and five CT50P reelstands.
Asahi Shimbun is Japan's second-largest daily, with national circulation of approximately 12 million copies.
