Greater Media Newspapers, the publisher of 10 weekly newspapers including the Atlanticville and the News Transcript, is under contract to be sold to a Philadelphia area businessman.
Manalapan-based Greater Media Newspapers will become part of the Newspaper Media Group, a catalog of newspapers assembled by Richard Donnelly, chief executive officer of Donnelly Distribution and a Philadelphia native. A purchase price was not announced, said Ben Cannizzaro, Greater Media Newspapers' publisher and general manager.
