The McClatchy Co. yesterday named James A. Green president and publisher of the company's online division, Nando Media.
Green, who has been marketing director for The Modesto (Calif.) Bee since 1997, succeeds Christian A. Hendricks. Earlier this year, Hendricks was promoted to vice president of interactive media at McClatchy.

Based in Raleigh, N.C., Nando coordinates the online publishing of McClatchy newspapers, including Startribune.com, Sacbee.com, and The News and Observer on the Web.
