By: E&P Staff The News-Sentinel and The Journal Gazette in Ft. Wayne, Indiana, broke ground today on a 47,000-square-foot building that will house its 60-foot-tall, six-tower press, due to start printing newspapers in the middle of next year.

The 86-foot-tall building, just west of the newspapers? offices, is to be completed in January, according to an article in today's News-Sentinel. It "represents a $34.8 million investment, although no permanent jobs will be lost or created," the paper said. "It is one of the largest private investments in downtown in 20 years."

Architect is Dario Designs Inc. of Framingham, Mass.

The business offices and newsrooms will remain in the existing headquarters, built in 1957.
