By: E&P Staff MPG Newspapers has bought The Norwood (Mass.) Bulletin.
MPG publisher Sean Burke called the acquisition part of the company's continued expansion plans. "The acquisition of The Norwood Bulletin will represent a formidable foundation and an important first step in our expansion into new markets," he said in a statement.
MPG Newspapers is owned by Enterprise NewsMedia. The company publishes community newspapers on the south shore and south coast of Massachusetts. Previously, The Norwood Bulletin was published by Bulletin Newspapers Inc.
