Hampton Roads 'Daily Press' Names New Director of Interactive Sales

By: E&P Staff John A. Daman has been named director of interactive sales and operations at The Daily Press Inc. in Hampton Roads, Va. Daman was most recently a senior account executive at SAGA Communications' FM stations WNOR and WAFX.

In his new role, Daman will be responsible for directing Internet sales activities for the Daily Press and the CBS affiliate, which have a partnership.

"John's role signals our emphasis on integrating sales across multiple media platforms in response to the expanding marketing needs of the Hampton Roads business community," Robert Weber, vice president of advertising, said in a statement.

Daman began his career with Hampton Roads Radio Group. He also worked for the Long Island Radio Group in New York and Tidewater Communications in Chesapeake.
