By: Dave Astor Politicker.com's Rob Tornoe is cartooning about the Democrat National Convention -- and also blogging about other cartoonists cartooning about the Denver political gathering.
For his own "Convention Sketchpad," Tornoe told E&P he's "assembling all my random thoughts and ideas into one handy cartoon."
That work can be seen
here.
For the blog about other cartoonists, Tornoe is focusing on "how they're choosing to cover the convention from their unique point of view."
That blog can be seen
here.
So far, Tornoe has mentioned creators such as Walt Handelsman (Newsday/Tribune Media Services), Drew Litton (Rocky Mountain News/United Media), Rob Rogers (Pittsburgh Post-Gazette/United), and Ron Rogers (South Bend Tribune).
E&P Online wrote about the last three cartoonists' convention efforts on Friday and yesterday.
Tornoe also discussed whether it's necessary for "pundits" to attend political conventions when there are so many news channels, blogs, and other media covering the Democratic and Republican gatherings.
