Adweek IQ) The Interactive Advertising Bureau, a 7-year-old organization that represents companies that engage in or support the sales of online ads, has added 15 new members to its roster.
The latest additions are: Adtegrity.com, Ask Jeeves, BabyCenter, Business.com, CBS.com, CBSNews.com, CoolSavings, Crain's Chicago Business, Crain's New York Business, Eversave, EXI Technologies, Hearst Newspapers (including the
Times Union of Albany, N.Y.,
Houston Chronicle, San Antonio Express-News, San Francisco Chronicle, and
Seattle Post-Intelligencer), iProspect, Multex, and ValueClick. The IAB now has 109 members.
Earlier this month, the IAB created an associate membership category to include companies that support the sales of interactive ads and marketing programs, such as iTraffic, Viewpoint, and Solbright.
The IAB identifies key initiatives the industry should undertake to improve the overall effectiveness and efficiencies of the business.
