Hearst Signs for Relationals CRM

By: E&P Staff Hearst Corp. has selected the Relationals on-demand CRM platform to streamline and increase sales and improve customers' experience across its 12 dailies.

Customer relationship management aims to reduce churn, maximize up-selling and cross-selling, optimize product and pricing mix, and enable analysis of marketing campaigns' return on investment -- many of which capabilities exist in disparate systems, creating barriers to access for important information.

Relationals says its integrated selling and customer-management provides "an efficient platform for tracking, finding, and managing all aspects" of sales and the ad-buying relationship.

"It provides sales representatives with a complete information system that let's them know everything that's going on with their accounts - which ... customers have come to expect" from companies with which they do business, Relationals CEO Pankaj Malviya said in a statement.
