With Hollywood finally gearing up for what new technology offers
entertainment, The Hollywood Reporter yesterday launched a new
daily feature, 'Convergence: Where Entertainment Meets Technology.'

The new section will cover a different entertainment area each day of the
week. On Monday, The Reporter will analyze the audience
measurement numbers coming out of Nielsen//NetRatings Inc. On
Tuesday, an international focus looks at features and top Web sites in
various countries. Content on the Internet and broadband with a special
look at animation and live-action shorts will be Wednesday's topic.
Thursday is reserved for industry leaders' perspectives. Company profiles
and Q & As with major players in the entertainment/technology world will
appear on Fridays.

Editing the new feature is Paul Bond with contributions from new media
reporter Chris Marlowe and other staffers at The Reporter.

The Reporter is a sister publication of E&P.
