By: Jim Kelly has been named editorial page editor at The Honolulu Advertiser. He has served as editor of Pacific Business News for the past five years.
Kelly, 49, previously worked at the Advertiser for seven years in several senior newsroom management positions, including managing editor.
In 2007, Kelly took the top award for editorial writing from the Society of Professional Journalists? Hawaii chapter for an editorial on the Hawaii Superferry. Under his watch, PBN has been named the Aloha State?s best non-daily newspaper for the past five years by the Hawaii Publishers Association.
