'Honolulu Weekly' Purchases 'Hawai'i Island Journal'

By: E&P Staff Honolulu Weekly, an independent newspaper on Oahu, has announced its acquisition of the Hawai'i Island Journal.

The Hawai'i Island Journal is a twice-monthly free publication. Honolulu Weekly is a similar, alternative-voice newspaper.

Steve Klinger, senior associate for W.B. Grimes & Co., represented the sellers in the transaction.
