'Houston Chronicle' Appoints two Advertising VPs

By: E&P Staff The Houston Chronicle has appointed Todd Neal and Ken Whitfield vice presidents in its advertising division. Neal has been named vice president of classified advertising, while Whitfield becomes vice president of display advertising.

Neal is promoted from classified advertising director, a post he has held for the past two years. He started at the Chronicle career in 1988 as an account executive in retail advertising.

Whitfield has served as retail advertising director for the past year. Before that, he was vice president of advertising for Newsday and held various advertising leadership positions during his 17-year career at the Fort Worth Star-Telegram.
