'Human Rights' Cartoon Show to Open Monday at the UN

By: E&P Staff A cartoon exhibit called "Sketching Human Rights" will open this Monday at the United Nations in New York City and last until mid-January.

The show is curated by Jerry Robinson -- founder of the Cartoonists & Writers Syndicate/CartoonArts International, which is marketed by the New York Times Syndicate.

Robinson, who has also been a cartoonist and cartoon-book author, will be one of the speakers at Monday's opening ceremony.

The exhibit is among the UN events marking the 60th-anniversary year of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
