'Humble Stumble' Characters to Star in NEA Holiday Comic

By: E&P Staff United Media (UM) today announced that "The Humble Stumble" cartoonist Roy Schneider will do this year's Newspaper Enterprise Association holiday comic strip.

NEA is a division of UM -- as is United Feature Syndicate, which distributes the regular version of "The Humble Stumble."

The holiday series, dated to run from Dec. 3 to Dec. 25, is called "Roamin' Holiday: Christmas With The Humble Stumble." It takes a lighthearted look at NOT spending the holiday with loved ones.

Schneider's comic stars single father Joe Humble and the daughter, Molly, that he's raising alone.

NEA, which distributes its content package to 600-plus newspapers, has offered a special holiday comic every year since 1937.
