Ian Weston Named Dow Jones SVP, Special Projects

By: E&P Staff Ian Weston has been named senior vice president, special projects for Dow Jones & Co. Weston, 43, was most recently the corporate development director of News International Limited in the United Kingdom.

News International publishes The Times, The Sunday Times, The Sun, and News of the World. While at News International, Weston oversaw the company's recent $1.3 billion printing press installation.

"This is a time of exciting change for the company, and Ian brings years of top-level experience in the newspaper industry," Les Hinton, CEO of Dow Jones, said in a statement.

Weston also served as News International's director of circulation and sales and head of business development. Before that he was with the Boston Consulting Group.
