IBS to Host 15 Cox TV Web Sites

By: Cox Television has partnered with Internet Broadcasting Systems (IBS) of New York, which will host local Web sites for 15 Cox TV stations in 11 markets. Cox Newspapers are not part of the deal, but five local city guides previously managed by Cox Interactive Media are included (BayInsider.com, SeattleInsider.com, goCarolinas.com, Pittsburgh.com, and icFlorida.com).

IBS hosts Web sites for 64 local TV affiliates, including those owned by Hearst-Argyle Television and Post-Newsweek Stations. In addition to producing the sites, IBS provides national sales and editorial services.

Recent advertisers on the IBS network of sites include Delta Airlines, Ford Motor Co., and Samsung.

Cox Television is part of Cox Broadcasting Inc., a subsidiary of Atlanta-based Cox Enterprises Inc.
